What are the details of the reaces for 2011?
No Late Fees! Join the fun on this fast challenging course! When you have finished you will be glad you did!
Great Race Jayson! Loved every second of it. Thanks for putting this on. You definitely put a lot of work into it and it showed. Thanks again for a great race!
Jayson- I am glad you convinced me to sign up, can’t wait for #2 in the series and to be humbled again. Everything was clearly marked, now I just need to get in better shape. Thanks to you and your team along with all the volunteers who made it a great event!
Can you do the ride portion on a ‘cross bike? Or are mountain bikes mandated??
This course best suits a hard tail MTB but a cross bike is doable. Take it easy on the long downhill before the finish to prevent from tacoing a wheel. Hope to see you there!
Awesome race jayson- great job as always!!
When will results be posted for yesterday’s race?
Results are now posted. Thanks for your patience 🙂
How technical is the mountain biking? Can a beginner do it? What are the volunteer opportunities? 🙂
Lindsey,
Thanks for the q’s. The MTB is doable for a beginner yet challenging for anyone. It is 100% ridable. I have plenty of volunteer opportunities as well: Timing-Registration-Course H20 Station etc. Let me know if you are interested or have any other questions. Have a great day,
Jayson
Jayson:
My husband is registered for the DirtyDu race.
My son and I would like to participate as a team, I would run, he would bike, but he’s only 12. I did not see a category for that sort of team participation on the registration page.
Can you please let me know how Quinn and I can register to race as a mother-son team?
Thanks so much. We think this will be a great family adventure.
Regards,
Mary,
I have a few families racing and will create a parent/Junior category. I would make a category for every combination but we have a bunch of categories already. I hope this helps and I’m glad you are competing as a family:) A family that plays together stays together. Have a great day,
Jayson
